Fifteen talented families had the opportunity to shine at the fourth annual Paradise Canyon Elementary School Family Variety Show. Friends and family gathered in the auditorium at 3 p.m. to cheer them on. The performers embraced the show guidelines, which required all acts to include at least one currently enrolled PCY student and at least two members from the same family. Some highlights of the show were a brother and sister flute and trumpet duet, two father-and-daughter performances with the music from “Moana,” and three families of four performing with their family bands. The show is hosted each year by PCY parent and event coordinator Caren Saiet.
