The 5th-graders in the classes of Rob Hajek, Jenny Kazak, Danna Lesko and Kathy Selsor at Paradise Canyon Elementary School stepped back in history and experienced what it would be like to be a student in Colonial times. They came to school in Colonial attire and some came as historical figures. With parent volunteers helping, the students wrote in hornbooks, painted flags, punched leather bracelets and played games from the era. They all agreed it was fun, but prefer being a student in modern times.
