CV Sheriff Seeks Help IDing Persons of Interest

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s investigators are seeking to identify two people of interest who might have witnessed a road rage incident on March 8 at the second turnout on Angeles Crest Highway, Det. Edmundo Perez said.
“We are not sure if it was a road rage incident or not,” Perez said. “The victim’s story is that the vehicle pulled up and was doing doughnuts, so [the victim] tried to stop them. He confronted the driver and was attacked by the passenger. He fought back and both the passenger and the driver teamed up on him and beat him up and then left the location.”
Perez said the victim was transported to an emergency room for treatment and was released within a couple of days.
According to Perez, the victim described his alleged attackers only as a muscular white or Armenian male and a skinny black male. The car they were driving was identified as an older model red Ford Mustang convertible. The two apparently made an appearance at the Crescenta Valley station after the encounter before sheriff’s personnel learned of the assault.
“They showed up at the station to report a road rage incident,” Perez said. “But apparently they did not want to report it, so they left station. It’s just unfortunate, at that time, there was no victim and so we didn’t acquire any information from them. I don’t know what story is the correct story.”
