Rikio and Mako Inouye

Local residents Rikio and Mako Inouye recently graduated from UC Berkeley, earning bachelor’s degrees in political science and history, respectively. The twins made the Phi Beta Kappa Society and, after having toured China and Japan last summer with Cal’s band, were hired by the JET program (Japan Exchange Teaching). Both young men will teach English. Rikio will go to Toyama, Japan, and Mako will go to Yoshino, Japan. They both attended Paradise Canyon Elementary School and La Cañada High School and were Eagle Scouts with St. Bedes’ Troop 507.
