The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group and the La Cañada Flintridge Chamber of Commerce will present the 34th annual Crescenta Cañada Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 21, at the LCF Country Club. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.; tee time is 1 p.m.
Awards and prizes will be presented immediately after the tournament. Proceeds benefit the CV Sheriff’s Support Group and the LCF Chamber of Commerce.
The cost to participate is $225, which includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, dinner, awards and tee prizes. Tee and greens sponsorships are available for $150.
“The Sheriff Support Group is a nonprofit organization that is run by volunteer members of the community and the money raised is used to support the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station and its deputies,” an event spokesperson said. “The funds raised help purchase specialized equipment and other programs necessary to operations at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.”
