La Cañada Elementary School 5th-graders recently celebrated the end of school with a luau at Memorial Park. Dressed in Hawaiian clothes, they enjoyed lunch and then let the games begin. They competed in water balloon tosses, hula hoop contests and limbo. Students enjoyed striking a pose in the photo booth. The activity closed with a big aloha for a wonderful summer break.
