Corwin Hill and Eric Jeong participate in the Community E-Waste Collection Day at La Cañada High School, billed as an event to help save the environment from toxic waste. Approximately 46,000 pounds of electronic devices were collected at the event, which was sponsored by the LCHS Green Club and the LCHS Engineering and Robotics Clubs. Proceeds from the recycled electronics benefitted clubs and educational programs at LCHS, including helping to fund a solar car, which will be driven for two weeks in July from Fort Worth, Texas, to Palmdale.
