The 25th annual Western Round-Up went off without a hitch last Saturday despite the wet weather. The La Cañada Flintridge Community Center Preschool was overwhelmed by the number of families who turned out to play on carnival games, ride the ponies, line dance with JoJo’s Dance Divas and Dudes, and enjoy lunch from the Los Gringos Locos World Famous Taco Cart.
One lucky preschool grandfather lassoed the $400 Apple gift card raffle prize donated by Carey Haynes of Pacific Union International Realtors.
This year’s Western Round-Up was a resounding success and has guaranteed funding for all of the preschool’s extensive enrichment programming, teacher development programs and, most important, Phase 2 of the redesign of the play yard. It takes so many hearts, hands and talents to run the Western Round-Up, from our dedicated parent board, director and teachers, to our loyal and generous vendors and sponsors, and of course the invested parents.
