Deborah and Brian Parker with Tony and Kristin Korkunis of La Cañada Flintridge are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Christine Korkunis, to Dr. Wilko Ziggy Schulz-Mahlendorf, son of Udo and Monika Schulz of Plymouth, Minnesota.
Amanda, a 2004 graduate of La Cañada High School, obtained her bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and is a retired data engineer from Amazon. Wilko graduated with a master’s from Duke University and a doctorate in economics from UCLA and is a senior manager and economist at Amazon.
An intimate wedding with immediate family will take place at Canlis in Seattle, Washington, in June and a reception luncheon is scheduled at La Cañada Flintridge Country Club next month.
