This year, Pasadena Showcase House of Design enthusiasts can enjoy the 2020 house from the safety and comfort of their own homes. In October, ticket holders will have the opportunity to “walk through” the estate at their leisure.
The virtual experience “Ultimate Viewpoints: 56,” which is in production, not only highlights the completely renovated Federal country-style home designed by “Hollywood Society’s Architect” Gerard R. Colcord but also offers much more. The editorial website will guide guests through each design space. They can explore the rooms through a 360-degree panorama view, allowing them to feel as if they are inside the room.

The immersive and interactive component will give guests the freedom to zoom into design details, from the ceiling to the throw pillows.
To further help guests experience the house and the grounds, each space features a powerful image gallery, depicting the overall scheme and the more intimate details that make this a Showcase House. And to get to know the designers personally, guests are welcomed with a short designer interview.
The virtual experience will also highlight the latest products and color trends, as well as the music programs supported by proceeds from the event.

Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts has raised more than $23 million from the House of Design, PSHA’s only fundraiser. Money has gone to support the organization’s three music programs: Music Mobile, youth concert and instrumental competition.

Each year PSHA awards gifts and grants to a diverse list of local nonprofit organizations in support of their efforts in the community for music and arts. PSHA also underwrites concerts to ensure the joy of live music is available to a broad range of audiences. Its support of non-profit organizations enriches the community and provides opportunities for a variety of groups, from students to seniors, to learn, enjoy and grow from their experiences in these programs.
In addition, PSHA has a longstanding history of supporting the Los Angeles Philharmonic and its community outreach programs.
