Sheriff’s Crime Report

Several items were stolen from a vehicle at a gas station in the 1500 block of Foothill Boulevard at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. The driver walked away from her car to throw trash in the bin and saw a person taking her purse from the vehicle. The individual was described as a Hispanic woman between 5 foot and 5 foot, 5 inches tall, weighing between 200 and 210 pounds, with black hair, and wearing a white shirt, black pants and white shoes. She then ran to and entered what appeared to be a 2010 silver Honda Accord, which was driven by a man, before the vehicle drove away. The stolen items included an iPhone, multiple credit cards and cash.


A residence in the 300 block of Saint Katherine Drive was broken into sometime between 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, and 4:52 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12. The back door window of the home, which was under construction, was smashed and several drawers opened. There was nothing inside the residence because it was being renovated.


A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Lyans Drive sometime between 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, and 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7.


A locked vehicle parked near the U.S. Forest Services Angeles Station #11 was burglarized on Tuesday, Feb. 8, sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. The keyhole had been damaged and cash was stolen from the driver’s wallet.


A vehicle parked in the 900 block of Town Center Drive was burglarized sometime between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8. The rear driver-side window was smashed and multiple items, including a laptop computer, were stolen.
