For La Cañada Flintridge residents who live in the western portion of the city (“Sagebrush”), the annual application period for children to attend La Cañada public schools is approaching.
Applications for the 2022-23 school year are now posted on the district website. The submission window is March 7 to the April 22. This will be the only time of the year permit applications will be accepted.
LCUSD permits are approved based on availability of space at the various grade levels. LCUSD will notify families of their permit status during the summer. La Cañada Flintridge residents currently assigned to Glendale Unified School District would also need to apply for a release from GUSD should they be accepted to attend LCUSD schools. Families only need to apply for a GUSD release after they have been officially notified by LCUSD of acceptance.
