In its 43rd year, LCPC Parent Education recently hosted its annual gala, “Returning to Joy — A New Beginning” at the residence of Brad and Ashley Barrett.
Nearly 200 guests enjoyed a night of outside dining and live entertainment by the Hope Gardens Worship Team.
A live auction and paddle raise were led by emcees Chris Erskine, John Cervenka and Chuck Osburn, with the addition of an online auction created by board members. Ten percent of all net proceeds of the gala will be donated to Union Rescue Mission.
URM CEO Andy Bales and his wife Bonnie, as well as URM VP of Philanthropy Richard Newcomb and his wife Patti, were special guests of the night.
Thirty-three total underwriters supported the event, and the gala’s success is attributed to the work of the Parent Education Team, which includes the Volunteer Board and Ministry Support Team.
