La Cañada Extends Winning Streak

The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team picked up its third and fourth wins of the season, including its third straight victory, after shutting out Beverly Hills, 11-0, and defeating Saugus High, 13-5, in nonleague games. LCHS has moved above the .500 mark, improving its record to 4-3.

SPARTANS 13, SAUGUS 5
Natalie Crowell led the offense with five goals last Monday. Sarah Camp scored four goals, and Carly Petersen, Claire Steward, Matilda Scott and Mia Louie each scored once.

SPARTANS 11, BEVERLY HILLS 0
Senior goalie Cici Del Rivo had her first shutout win of the season against visiting Beverly Hills. She was assisted by defensive players Claire Steward, Tessa Lizardi, and Audrey Nappi.
The Spartans are scheduled to visit Sun Valley Village Christian for a nonleague game on Friday, March 25, at 3 p.m.
