Spartans Fall to League Rival San Marino, 12-6

The La Cañada High School varsity tennis team had its three-match win streak snapped after falling to visiting San Marino, 12-6, in a Rio Hondo League matchup last Friday.
LC’s No. 3 doubles team of seniors Luke Kim and Luke Manion swept their competition 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. Meanwhile, in singles action, Konan Sahara tallied two set wins, 6-4, 7-6, while No. 1 junior Lance Morgan added one set win, 6-4.
The Spartans (6-3 overall, 3-2 in league) are scheduled to visit Monrovia in a league match on Tuesday, April 12, at 3:30 p.m.

FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves defeated Milken of Los Angeles, 16-2, in a nonleague contest recently. No individual statistics were reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
Flintridge Prep (7-3 overall) is scheduled to host Pasadena Poly in a nonleague matchup on Friday, April 8, at 3:30 p.m.

ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights remained winless this season after dropping back-to-back league matches on the road last week.
SFHS lost a rival Loyola of Los Angeles, 17-1, last Thursday after falling at Crespi High of Encino, 12-6, last Tuesday.
The Golden Knights (0-9-1 overall) are scheduled to compete in the Ojai Invitational, which begins on Thursday, April 21.
