At 10:30am on Sunday, La Cañada United Methodist Church welcomes all to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection with a special Easter service and releasing of butterflies.
Pastor Karin Ellis concludes her Good Enough series with “A Good Enough Faith” (John 20:1-18). Come celebrate the hope of new life as everyone will be given a butterfly to release as the service ends.
For those who choose to participate virtually, a recording of the sermon will be available on Sunday afternoon at the church’s website lcumc.com and on Facebook under La Cañada United Methodist Church. Masks are now optional during worship.
Easter concludes Holy Week which starts on Thursday with a Maundy Thursday Prayer Service at noon in the Sanctuary and a 7 p.m. Lenten Hymn Sing via Zoom. Those who would like to attend via Zoom should email 4lcumc@gmail.com to receive the Meeting ID number.
Good Friday worship will be a joint service with Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church in its sanctuary (2700 Montrose Ave., Montrose). All are invited.
