Methodist Church to Plant Flowers for Earth Day

The La Cañada United Methodist Church will welcome families from its Children’s Center for a special service celebrating Earth Day this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Using Psalm 8, Pastor Karin Ellis will give thanks for God’s creation. After a brief time of worship, everyone will move outside to plant flowers.
All are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes so they can sing, pray and play. Note that masks are now optional when worshiping indoors.
For those who choose to participate virtually, a sermon from the California Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church will be available on Sunday afternoon at lcumc.com and on the church’s Facebook page.
