Two laptops were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Knight Way sometime between 1:43 and 1:53 p.m. Friday, April 29. The rear office window was shattered, allowing access to the laptops, but nothing else appeared to be ransacked.


Several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4500 block of Belita Lane sometime between 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, and 6:45 a.m. Saturday, April 30. The items included a debit card, which was later used to make fraudulent purchases.


Boxes containing playing cards and a knife collection were stolen from the bed of a truck parked in the Angeles National Forest sometime between 10 a.m. and noon Sunday, April 3.


A resident discovered on April 15 that a check was stolen from a mailbox in the 400 block of Starlight Crest Drive and that two checks were fraudulently cashed.


Several pieces of mail in a mailbox in the 4600 block of Palm Drive were illegally opened sometime between 5 p.m. Friday, April 22, and 4:40 p.m. Monday, April 25. A credit card application page was also taken from one of the envelopes.


Money was fraudulently withdrawn from a resident’s bank account at about 11:50 a.m. Thursday, April 28.
