The La Cañada Thursday Club Foundation recognized a contingent of seniors from area high schools during the club’s annual Scholarship Tea on Sunday. One of the Thursday Club Foundation’s “main philanthropic projects…is to further the youth of our community in their academic endeavors.”
The event’s organizers included Priscilla Brandt, Sharon Combs, Becky Lankey and Carol Wickersham. Peter Bachmann, who served as Flintridge Prep’s headmaster for nearly four decades, was the keynote speaker.
