Sheriff’s Crime Log

A home in the 5100 block of Crown Avenue was burglarized sometime between 10:08 p.m. Friday, May 13, and 12:07 a.m. Saturday, May 14. A rear glass door was shattered, and a closet door and safe were opened. Four passports, several pieces of jewelry and a Louis Vuitton handbag were stolen.


Someone tried to illegally enter a home in the 1100 block of Green Lane at around 1:35 p.m. Friday, May 13. A neighbor said she saw a man on the property but he walked away as she approached. A window screen on the east side of the residence appeared bent and partially removed, though the home did not appear to have been entered.


A resident was notified that someone had fraudulently used his personal information to open a credit card account at noon Friday, May 6.
