Flintridge Prep Captures CIF Championship

The Flintridge Prep varsity boys’ tennis team captured a CIF-SS Division III championship by dominating Whitney High of Cerritos, 15-3, at the Claremont Club last Friday.
The Wolves finished the season with a 22-4 overall record, claiming their first championship since 2019 and the second title in program history, according to Flintridge Prep athletic director Sean Beattie.
The Wolves advanced to the final by defeating Lutheran High of Orange in a semifinal match, 14-4, last Wednesday.
Flintridge Prep collected a 14-4 victory over visiting Oxford Academy of Cypress in a CIF-SS Division III quarterfinal matchup last Monday.
The Wolves won their second-round match by defeating host Foothill Technology High in Ventura, 14-4.
Flintridge Prep crushed host Mark Keppel High in Alhambra in a first-round matchup, 17-1. Will Lanstra, Luca Yeghmazar and Jeremy Seiben were undefeated in their singles matches. Additionally, Miles and Ray Cabrera, Loran Baxter, Matthew Wang, Neel Saada and Leon Liao were undefeated in their doubles matches.
