I want to express my support for La Cañada City Council candidates Mike Davitt and Kim Bowman.
I’ve known Davitt for many years and believe that he is a steady hand and has done an amazing job serving as our mayor and city councilman. I recently became acquainted with Kim Bowman through a series of events and a one-on-one meeting.
Having devoted many years to the education of our children, serving both on the La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board and the board of the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation, keeping our schools strong is a major issue for me.
I found Bowman to be extraordinarily knowledgeable in terms of the many issues facing our community such as the need for more athletic fields, greater public safety, improved facilities for our seniors, as well as disaster preparedness.
Our city and school district leaders have worked hand-in-hand over the years on many issues and Bowman will not only continue this long tradition of cooperation, but will bring a new energy to our city leadership.
Please consider casting your ballot for Davitt and Bowman.
