Authorities Wednesday identified the second of two men who died in a shooting at a Commerce business in what the sheriff’s department said was an apparent murder-suicide.
The men died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred just before 11:45 a.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Supply Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office had identified one of the men as Ronald Lee, 51, of Pasadena. The cause of Lee’s death was listed by the coroner’s office as “multiple gunshot wounds” and the manner of death was listed as “homicide.”
On Wednesday, the coroner’s office identified the second man as Suk Ou, 50, of La Cañada Flintridge. Ou’s cause of death was listed by the coroner’s office as “gunshot wound of head” and the manner of death was listed as “suicide.”
“The incident appeared to be a murder-suicide where an employee shot and killed another employee and then shot and killed himself,” LASD Deputy Lizette Falcon said.
Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477 or submitted at lacrimestoppers.org.
