La Cañada High School junior Lance Morgan recently defeated Carter High of Rialto’s Diego Panigua (6-0, 6-0), Harvard-Westlake of Studio City’s Andrew Arkow (6-2, 7-5) and Foothill High of Santa Ana’s Eugen Andres (6-1, 6-1) in CIF-SS individual singles matches to qualify for the round of 16 on Wednesday, May 25, at Whittier Narrows Tennis Club.
