The La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Association is hosting its annual Open House this Saturday, May 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4524 Hampton Road.
At the Open House, guests can learn more about the design, construction and decoration of the La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Float that navigates down Colorado Boulevard as an element of America’s New Year’s Day Celebration.
Tours will be given of the site and a special free BBQ lunch at high noon will be available to all attendees.
The event will also introduce float designer Grant Delgatty. He will provide insight into how the city parade entry went from a steel frame to an award-winning float that proudly represented the city on New Year’s Day.
