Palm Crest Elementary recently held its 6th grade promotion celebration.
The event is always a special event for students and their parents. For many students, this year marks their seventh year at PCR.
Each student was able to share a special memory. The 6th grade Pali Mountain trip was a favorite of Ethan Shin; Justine Abrahamian’s favorite memory was getting to keep Jumpy, the class pet, in Mrs. Hornes’ 1st grade class; Holland Wolpert loved making friends over all her years at PCR; and Joselyn Abrahamian’s memorable moment was taking home a stuffed alligator in kindergarten.
There was also video featuring each child. The event was concluded with a choreographed song from each class on stage through the efforts of PCR music teacher Maria Vasiliou.
The 6th grade teachers who worked hard to make the event happen Debbie Au, Megan Barrick, Jane Chang and Amy Tsai.
