Summer school students in the Assistance League of Flintridge’s art for the masters class learned about Henri Matisse, Bridget Riley and Egon Schiele.
With the help of teacher Joseph Steckermier, they used the various artists’ techniques to make their own masterpieces, including landscape paintings, a Greek vase and cardboard food.
Lastly, students used toothpicks to build abstract sculptures.
