The summer school students in the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation’s Spanish class, taught by Rosa Vasquez, were quick to grasp the basics of their new second language. By the end of the summer sessions, they were able to converse, read and write in Spanish, as well as learn the history of the language.
