When tennis exploded in the early ’70s, I played at FIS and La Cañada High School when available.
I did not ask the city to provide additional tennis courts.
In 1977, a private company built Flint Canyon Tennis, and I pay monthly dues to play there. It should not be up to La Cañada to use taxpayer money to provide pickleball courts for a very small number of players.
