La Cañada PTA Council President
On behalf of the La Cañada PTA Council, welcome back to the 2022-23 school year.
Our Elementary, 7/8, and High School PTA presidents and executive boards have been working hard over the summer to ensure that our students can enjoy the events, activities, and enrichment opportunities they look forward to each year. It is through the work of these tireless volunteers — moms, dads, family members, teachers and staff — that PTA is able to reach out with programs and events that enrich the learning experience.
I encourage everyone to become involved with their school’s PTA by contacting their PTA president or vice president of volunteers. Whether it is volunteering as a last-minute classroom helper or chairing a program, volunteering is an excellent way to connect with your child’s school community.
Your school’s PTA is an excellent resource for school-related information, including important dates and deadlines. The best way to stay up to date is to attend PTA meetings, read your PTA’s weekly email, and become a PTA member at the beginning of the year. As a PTA member, you support the partnership between schools and families, and show your dedication to making a difference in the enrichment and education of our children.
I wish everyone a safe and healthy school year and welcome your thoughts, ideas, and input. I can be reached at email@example.com.
