Over the summer, the Palm Crest Elementary PTA has been busy planning events, programs and fundraisers. We want every teacher and staff member, student and parent to feel welcome and a part of the PCR community.
This year, we plan to provide all the programs the children love — Reflections, Science Fair, daughter/son events and more. We also plan to bring back the Dads’ Committee and add more Parents Nights to build relationships among our PCR community of parents and caregivers.
PCR Panthers have shown their resilience through COVID, construction and whatever comes our way. Students and teachers are excited to be moving into the new classroom building and enjoy the new technology, classrooms and outdoor space. We can’t wait to have our playground field back, too. This field is the home of our favorite family event — Fallapalooza! Save the date and join us for carnival games, food and more on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
PCR PTA raises funds through your support of Fallapalooza, Candy Grams, Book Fair and other fundraisers throughout the year. We have an ambitious goal this year to fund new playground equipment, soft playground flooring and a sunshade for the PCR playground.
Visit palmcrestpta.org to learn more about what’s happening at PCR, join the PCR PTA and donate. Your time, talents and financial support help the children of PCR achieve great things.
I look forward to seeing you at PCR. Go Panthers!
