PCR Puts On Back-to-School BBQ

students lined up to see in the fire engine cab 106 — Palm Crest Elementary parents and students recently celebrated the start of the school year with the school’s annual barbecue event. Local firefighters made an appearance and allowed the children to climb into the firetruck.

Palm Crest Elementary recently hosted its Back-to-School BBQ, a PalmCrest tradition.
This year, food and fun was supplied by Los Gringos, and a bouncy structure, a chance to climb up into the cab of a firetruck and walking balloon animals were available for purchase.
Event chair Netty Becke and PCR PTA President Jennifer Wolpert made sure the BBQ went off without a hitch.
