What a Friday night it was for La Cañada Elementary School families and teachers, as they came in record numbers to attend the annual Back-to-School Family Picnic.
The What A Party DJ had the music pumped up for attendees. The DJ even called the students over for hula hoop contests and other games and dances.
Some families enjoyed preordered Chick-Fil-A dinners, while other brought their own favorites. Picnic-goers were surprised by the special guest, the Chick-Fil-A cow. To add to the good time, the Kona Ice truck arrived for dessert.
