Palm Crest Elementary’s recent Back-to-School Night was filled with parents in the cafetorium, happy to get out of the heat.
PCR PTA President welcomed parents to get involved with the school’s PTA, which is “here to support the children through our programs, classroom support and more. Your support is needed to make this happen.”
The PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year, Fallapalooza, is scheduled for Sept. 24 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. For more information, visit palmcrestpta.org.
PCR principal Amy Marcoullier also welcomed parents and introduced the teachers. She gave construction updates, which included a ribbon cutting for the new buildings that occurred earlier in the day. She also shared all the exciting things happening at PCR.
Parents then went to their student’s classrooms to learn more from the teachers about what their child can expect of the school year ahead of them.
