St. Francis Wins League Opener; Flintridge Prep Idle

The St. Francis High School varsity football team recorded its second straight win after dominating visiting Lancaster Paraclete last Friday in its Angelus League opener, 45-14. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
SFHS (3-3 overall, 1-0 in league) will continue league action at Cathedral High in Los Angeles (5-1 overall, 1-0 in league) on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m.

FLINTRIDGE PREP
The unbeaten Wolves have been idle since blanking visiting Thacher High of Ojai, 34-0, in a nonleague game on Sept. 22.
Flintridge Prep (3-0 overall) will return to action by hosting Grace Brethren High of Simi Valley in a nonleague game on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m.
