First published in the Oct. 20 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

Roughly 200 attendees were welcomed last Saturday morning to the YMCA of the Foothill’s annual Prayer Breakfast,
The outdoor event, located at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA, featured live music, decorative fall arrangements, tasty catering and shared life experiences led by keynote speaker and Outlook Newspaper columnist Chris Erskine.
More than $50,000 was raised to benefit the Chaplain Services Program, which provides spiritual wellbeing for all Y members. The success of Prayer Breakfast is attributed to the generous sponsors at Citizens Business Bank, as well as Scott and Karen Young.
