First published in the Oct. 27 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

A store was vandalized at the 700 block of Foothill Boulevard between the hours of 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 and 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 19. Employees told deputies of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s department that the glass windows of the store were shattered, leaving the interior exposed. The inside of the store did not appear to be ransacked, the safe and cash register was untouched, and nothing was reported stolen.

Deputies responded to a report of a burglary at the 1300 block of Descanso Drive at 3 p.m. on Oct. 21. Suspects shattered a bathroom window and used it as the point of entry into the home. Law enforcement recorded that the unit was ransacked, but victims state that nothing had been stolen from the home at the time of the report.

Editor’s note: Details included in the Sheriff’s crime report are taken directly from the deputies’ reports on file at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s station. The Outlook Valley Sun is not responsible for incompleteness or inaccuracies in the original reports.
