The La Cañada Elementary School 5th-graders recently had fun with their pumpkin carving day.
On the special day, students brought their pumpkins, stencils and carving tools to school. After lunchtime, the group traveled to Memorial Park, where they put their tools to work with parent volunteers helping them along the way.
Forty minutes later, their one-of-a-kind pumpkins were finished and the class was able to admire their hard work while enjoying a snack.
