Students at La Cañada Elementary School were recently excited to jog and raise money for the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation.
They wore their lavender shirts and despite the unexpected rain, it did not hold up the fundraising event. Some students did their laps in the multipurpose room, and when the sun came out in the afternoon, others went out on the field.
Parent volunteers were on hand to help and passed out popsicle treats after each jog-a-thon session.
