Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s deputies responded to grand theft reports on the 4400 Block of Cornishon Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 6. The victim parked his Ford truck at the location and returned to find that his catalytic converter had been removed without his knowledge. Deputies were unable to locate any CCTV footage near the crime scene.

A package containing a designer purse was stolen from the doorstep of a home on the 3100 block of Jessen Drive. The victim left her home to go out of town on Nov. 3 and returned at 5 p.m. on Nov. 13. The package was delivered during her time away but was missing upon her arrival home.

A burglary occurred at a residence on the 4900 block of Ocean View Boulevard at about 11:20 a.m. on Nov. 9. Suspects cut off power to the victim’s home using the residence’s breaker box, preventing security footage from being recorded. They entered the home by shattering a sliding glass door and proceeded to ransack the master bedroom, guest rooms, and the garage area. The victim noted losses of a security safe, U.S. currency and damage to her home.

A vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Lyans Drive was burglarized between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 9. The vehicle belonged to a gardener who was working on site. He reported losses of his wallet — which contained several bank cards, IDs and cash — a bag, a receipt book and other items were stolen from the vehicle.
