The rain did not prevent La Cañada Elementary School parents and grandparents coming to attend the lunch with their special student.
Bundled up and wearing hats and scarfs, the guests brought a hot-lunch favorite or had pre-ordered Jersey Mike’s sandwiches. When it was time to say goodbye, the students gave their special guests an extra big hug.
