The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ water polo team has been idle since competing in the Corona tournament Dec. 17.
The Spartans (2-4 overall) will open Rio Hondo League action at Temple City on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 4 p.m.

The Wolves have been idle since defeating Westridge School of Pasadena in a
Prep League game on Dec. 16.
Flintridge Prep (6-5 overall, 2-1 in league) will return to action by hosting Pasadena in a nonleague game on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 3:30 p.m.

The Tologs have been idle since routing host Mayfield Senior of Pasadena, 21-1, in a nonleague game on Dec. 9.
