George Kamar (center), a La Cañada High School class of 2021 graduate who is now a drumline member of the Texas Christian University Marching Band, was among the excited performers as the Horned Frogs upset the University of Michigan in a College Football Playoff semifinal last Saturday at the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. Kamar, a TCU sophomore who is pictured with his parents Taleen and Charlie Kamar, will now be headed to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood this Monday evening for the National Championship Game as TCU plays top-ranked Georgia.
