PCR Dresses Up for Spirit Rally

Palm Crest Elementary students recently dressed in mismatched, inside out and backwards outfits for the school’s spirit rally.
The rally began with the Pledge of Allegiance, school song, and Palm Crest Pledge:
“This day has been given to me fresh and new, I can learn from it or throw it away. I will choose to do my best in thoughts, words and actions. Today, I will be a S.T.A.R. I will stop, think and act responsibly.”
The school’s character qualities for January is to be kind and courageous.
Additionally, Founder’s Day recipients were announced, which include parent volunteer Rachel Stanley, 1st grade teacher Camilla Hartman, 2nd grade teacher Grace Choe, psychologist Christy Suh and parent volunteer Natalie Hubbard.
Next on the school’s calendar is their Great Kindness Challenge (Jan. 23-27).
