Congregational Church Honors Black History With Speaker Series

La Cañada Congregational Church will host Black History Month Lectures, beginning this Saturday, Feb. 4.
Its first guest speaker will be theology professor and church anti-racism leader Drew Hart, who is the author of “Who Will Be a Witness?” and “Trouble I’ve Seen.” Other lecturers for this series are Jennifer Harvey author of “Raising White Kids: Bringing Up Children in a Racially Unjust America”; Christena Cleveland, author of “God Is a Black Woman”; and Valarie Kaur, author of “See No Stranger.”
