A residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of Gould Avenue. The home was ransacked on Jan. 28 at 2:35 p.m. A resident returned home to find their safe out of place and broken glass from the side door. When officers arrived at the residence, it was determined that all bedrooms had been ransacked, with closet doors and drawers open, and personal items tossed on the floor. Money was missing from an opened safe.

Three chainsaws and a leaf blower were stolen from a metal compartment of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Louise Drive on Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m. One of the metal compartments located on the exterior of the vehicle, which held the stolen items, was found damaged with its door open and its master lock missing.

An unattended purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 4800 block of Hill Street on Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m. Some of the items reported to be inside the purse include a cell phone, wallet, driver’s license, medical insurance card and six keys.
