First-graders in Alison Parra’s class at Paradise Canyon Elementary recently prepared for the Lunar New Year by making folded Chinese lanterns, which they placed on posters.
Since it is the Year of the Rabbit, some of the lanterns featured the gentle creature. The artworks were used to decorate the staff lounge, where a traditional Chinese lunch was provided by some of the parents.
