The La Cañada Thursday Club Foundation recently opened its scholarship applications.
The club will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live or attend school in La Cañada Flintridge, with the application deadline being Feb. 21.
Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, community service and potential for success. The Denise Greenawalt Scholarship recipients are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, triumph over an obstacle, hardship or extenuating circumstance and potential for success.
The application and filing instructions are available online at lacanadathursdayclub.org.
The club’s scholarship committee will not consider incomplete applications.
