The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada La Crescenta-AM and President Chris Ecker (center) hosted Sheriff Ron Hahnlein (right) and deputy Ron Minassian (left) of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Department as guest speakers at their recent membership meeting. They spoke about burglary protection and scams, providing valuable information and tips to stay safe. One tip included having a can of wasp spray handy to use for self-defense, if in danger. The club also presented a check to the officers for the CV Sheriffs’ Support Group.
