La Cañada Flintridge has six electric vehicle charging stations across town and now four are down or in need of parts.
“The city is waiting for the vendor ChargePoint to supply the parts, head units. Once they replenish their inventory, the parts will be sent to the city and installed,” said Senior Management Analyst Christina Nguyen.
At this time, the only places to charge electric vehicles are at 4491 Cornishon Ave. and One Civic Center Drive.
The stations that are down include:
• 1310 Foothill Blvd.
• 740 Foothill Blvd.
• 1800 Foothill Blvd.
• 4475 Indiana Ave.
Nguyen said that ChargePoint informed staff that the city should receive parts in March, and from there will schedule repairs.
